Corey cooked in a variety of restaurant kitchens in New York, Washington, and Oregon before getting a Masters Degree in Anthropology and embarking on a career as an anthropology instructor. That work evolved into his current position as author, speaker, and Director of Experience Strategy at Neologic, a digital agency and innovation lab.
While he seemingly has grown far from his food roots, cooking has always remained in his heart. Corey’s conviction that cooking is an expressive folk art that can be widely accessible and universally enjoyed led him to start the culinary instruction business Fat Salt Love. Corey teaches cooking classes of all kinds as proprietor of Fat Salt Love, as a Chef Instructor at Sur La Table, and as Culinary Instructor at the National College of Natural Medicine.
